From the Team at NexGold Mining Corp.
Dear shareholders, partners and community members,
July was another strong month of execution across NexGold’s portfolio, with steady progress in exploration, permitting, and community engagement. As we continue to advance toward development decisions at both the Goldboro Gold Project and the Goliath Gold Complex, we remain focused on delivering value through technical excellence, responsible stewardship, and meaningful partnerships.
We reported continued strong results from our drill programs at both flagship assets. At the Goldboro Gold Project, NexGold completed its 26,854-metre infill drill program and released a series of strong assay results throughout the month. Highlights include 108.76 g/t gold over 1.40 metres, 77.30 g/t gold over 1.25 metres, 67.23 g/t gold over 2.2 metres, 50.73 g/t gold over 6.65 metres, and 40.09 g/t gold over 17.7 metres, all reinforcing the presence of consistent high-grade gold mineralization within the proposed open pit. These results will support an updated Mineral Resource Estimate expected later this year and a planned updated Feasibility Study.
At the Goliath Gold Complex, infill drilling also delivered encouraging results, including 13.67 g/t gold over 1.75 metres and 1.05 g/t gold over 21.20 metres at the Goliath Deposit and the EAC prospect. These findings reinforce the potential of the Goliath deposit to underpin long-term mine life expansion.
A major regulatory step was achieved on July 8, when the federal government of Canada approved an amendment to Schedule 2 of the Metal and Diamond Mining Effluent Regulations (MDMER) for the Goldboro Gold Project. This enables the designation of tailings impoundment areas within the project’s footprint and represents one of the final milestones ahead of a federal Fisheries Act Authorization, marking NexGold’s path to full construction readiness at Goldboro.
In July, we were honoured to meet with the Assembly of Nova Scotia Mi’kmaw Chiefs. President & CEO Kevin Bullock and VP Sustainability Deidre Puddister visited the Assembly to commemorate our Benefits Agreement and continue building a foundation of trust and collaboration as we advance the Goldboro Gold Project.
In Ontario, NexGold met with Minister Stephen Lecce and Minister George Pirie, where we reaffirmed our shared commitment to advancing responsible mining development and strengthening Ontario’s role in supplying critical minerals and gold to global markets. These discussions support a faster path to permitting and construction for projects like the Goliath Gold Complex.
Health and safety remains at the core of our operations. In July, our Goliath site team completed bear spray and fire-building training, enhancing emergency preparedness and safety awareness for all field personnel. These efforts reflect our proactive approach to risk mitigation, particularly in remote and seasonal environments.
Thank you to our employees, communities and investors for your continued support as we responsibly advance our projects.
As always, we welcome your questions and feedback. Please contact us at ir@nexgold.com.
Warm regards,
The NexGold Team
