Mr. Baranowsky brings more than 25 years of finance and capital markets experience to NexGold and has been Chief Financial Officer of NexGold since April 2021. Previously, he was the Chief Financial Officer for Blue Thunder Mining Inc. and served as Chief Financial Officer of Stornoway Diamond Corporation, where he was instrumental in helping raise more than $1.5 billion for the construction of the Renard Diamond Mine in northern Québec. Mr. Baranowsky holds an Honours Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Wilfrid Laurier University, is a member of the Chartered Professional Accountants of Ontario, and is a CFA Charterholder.
