Goldboro Gold Project
The Goldboro Gold Project is a cornerstone development project for NexGold, located approximately 1.6 km north of the village of Goldboro in Guysborough County, Nova Scotia. The site benefits from access to Route 316, nearby services and skilled labour, and the project has received key federal and provincial permits, including Industrial Approval, supporting advancement toward construction and operations.
At Goldboro, we are focused on building a strong team to help advance one of Nova Scotia’s most important emerging mining projects. We are committed to responsible development, strong safety performance, and creating opportunities that support local communities and the regional workforce. NexGold has also stated a “hire locally, purchase locally” philosophy and has worked with local partners to support recruitment, employment and training opportunities connected to the project.
